It portrays the circle of life, where the old world perishes, and a new era dawns.The painting depicts an elderly man standing on a desolate field, carrying the burden of the past. He looks ahead at a massive stone gate, and two children stand at the entrance, gazing at a beautiful landscape beyond. They are eager to step into the new world with hope, leaving the devastation behind them.
